Recitation, ayah by ayah, over a scene
The unit of playback is a single ayah, which is why the text on screen and the voice never drift apart, and why repeating, looping and pausing between ayat are possible at all. Twelve reciters, fifteen translations, all 114 surahs.
Live stations, playing continuously
For when you would rather not choose. Open a station and it keeps going — recitation without a queue to manage, running behind whatever else you are doing.
Morning and evening remembrance
The morning and evening sets, counted and unhurried, in the same still frame as everything else. Each one rests over the scene for as long as you need it.

Under the surface
Nothing here is a wrapper around a web page. The scenes are rendered, the ambience is synthesised, and the whole download is under eight megabytes.
Seven scenes are drawn by your GPU rather than played from a file. They render at your display’s own resolution, never loop, and add nothing to the app’s size.
Twelve reciters and fifteen translations. Playback is scheduled one ayah at a time, so the text on screen and the voice never drift apart.
Rain, wind, waves, a stream and a low drone are synthesised sample by sample as they play. Nothing repeats, because there is nothing to repeat.
One shortcut paints the active scene behind your desktop icons, on every display. The windows ignore the mouse entirely, so the desktop keeps working.
